Chicks

The mobile chicken coop

We deliberately chose a mobile chicken coop. We move it regularly so the chickens have access to insects and fresh grass every day. This allows their natural foraging behavior to flourish. Moving the coop prevents overfertilization and reduces disease pressure.

The free-range chickens

Our Sheela chicks grow up in spacious pastures. They take initiative: pecking at the soil, finding insects, and foraging across the meadow.

Mobile chicken coop

At Sheela Farm, we deliberately opted for a mobile chicken coop. Moving the coop isn't an extra step, but the foundation of our system. The coop regularly moves to a new patch of fresh pasture, ensuring our chickens always have a fresh living environment. This prevents point-of-care pollution: the manure is evenly distributed, and the ground remains covered with vegetation.

This constant movement also helps prevent disease. By constantly giving our chickens new space, bacteria and parasites don't have a chance to spread. The result? Healthy chickens, a vibrant soil, and a natural balance that benefits everyone.

Quality that
you taste

Strict control, maximum security

Quality doesn't stop at laying. At our packing station, each egg is individually inspected. We test for freshness, sort by weight, and stamp each egg. This ensures compliance with the strictest regulations and legislation.
